EMS Process [ back to ems ]

Events at East Hill Church are managed with the following four step process. Each ministry has an administrative support person to over see all event for that ministry But Variety of people can manage there event through our web based Event Management System by requesting an account from there administrative support person.

Initiation Phase

In the Initiation stage of planning an event the ministry will evaluate how the proposed event lines up with the win statement of East Hill Church -Creating Passionate Hearted Disciples (PHD). Then identify who the sponsoring pastor is along with the event manager. The ministry will then identify the event steak holders and there responsibilities, an event win statement, determine the project limitations and financial requirements. Finally, attach the intiation phase worksheet in EMS with the reservation.

Planning Phase

In the Planning phase you lay out a workable scheme to accomplish the project's intended goals and outcomes. In the Planning stage, you identify the project's milestones, deliverables, and tasks. This plan can be your work breakdown structure (WBS). You develop and refine the schedule, and identify the resources needed to implement the project.

Executing Phase

The Executing stage coordinates people and other resources to carry out the plan as defined in the project plan. The deliverables in this stage focus on managing change, entering schedule updates, tracking progress, and communicating project information. Each team member performs defined tasks within the project scope, ensuring their contribution to the project's success.

Closing

The Closing stage includes resolving any final project details; conduct an event debrief and recording information about areas for improvement and best practices with the project plan. Make any final updates to the reservation and enter attendance. Finally, attach the closing phase worksheet in EMS with the reservation.
